Amazon Alexa

With Amazon Alexa, you can now control your Streamlabs Monitor's home and away setting using your voice. Whether you're heading out the door or arriving home, you can let your Streamlabs Monitor know through simple voice commands. 

To enable the connection between Amazon Alexa and Streamlabs, open your Amazon Alexa app and navigate to the Skills screen. Search for "Streamlabs" in the search bar, and then click Enable. You will need to log in to your Streamlabs account in order to complete the connection.

List of Available Commands

Alexa, tell Streamlabs to put my monitor in {Home/Away} mode.

  • Use this command if you only have one Streamlabs Monitor.
  • ex: "Alexa, tell Streamlabs I'm going away." or "Alexa, tell Streamlabs I'm home."

Alexa, tell Streamlabs to put my monitor at {Location Name} in {Home/Away} mode.

  • This command is useful if you have multiple properties or Streamlabs Monitors
  • ex: "Alexa, tell Streamlabs to put my device at Beach House in Away mode."
